No doubt, Charley Pride was one of the finest country music singers the world has ever heard.  Charley Pride’s story - his sound and road to country music stardom was uniquely his own. Born March 18, 1934 in Sledge, Mississippi, Charley Pride passed away December 12, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. He was 86. We paid tribute to the legend in a special emergency one-hour broadcast of our show that aired on December 18th, 2020.
